As if they made us wait until every single seat that first block was sold before releasing the next batch, another club at this level going out of its way to make buying tickets more difficult than it needs to be.

I understand it to some degree but once you're down the last few, common sense has to apply surely?

Exactly, I've been checking it a bit because I'm a saddo and around 5pmish yesterday there were around 40 seats left in that first block, mainly single seats and a few spots with two/three seats later. Then a few hours later there were around 15 seats left only singles though. I'm hoping it was just because it was out of work hours but surely they can't be waiting for 15 people to buy seats on their own before it's essentially possible for pairs and groups of people to get tickets? On the first evening after the club have made an announcement about getting tickets on the Barnet site and there's hardly any available. It makes no sense to release it in individual blocks at a time. Everyone knows we'll shift the first 700-1000 easily and quickly, so opening up with 3 blocks initially is surely the way to do it if you're hellbent on not making the whole stand available straight away.

I do agree its strange. It's a clever idea for small followings but we've allways taken well over 5000 (I think) so anyone with a brain cell should have realised opening up 3 blocks straight away would have made more sense...
