I’m weighing up driving to Cambridge and getting the direct train to Stratford from there. Can anyone confirm that this a sensible/viable option?

I would rather drive all the way but my sister is insisting we split the drive both ways rather than a way each like any normal person would which means I wouldn’t be able to have a drink. Cambridge being slightly closer and doable in one leg.

Trains are total shambles at the moment - chaos at Nottingham station this morning apparently some problem on the line north of Nottingham. We regularly have random cancellations on the Peterborough to Leicester line - driver shortages.

The RMT strike affects Tranpeninne next Sunday but LNER and East Mids don't seem to be affected at the moment

I'll either drive to my sisters in High Barnet or go from Peterborough where there are loads of trains so cancellations won't be such an issue.

I usually drive to Newark and train from there, is there any known problems with this on Jubilee weekend?

We booked https://www.justpark.com/uk/pa.....amp;citySlug=london/ for £10 from 10 till 6pm. Only £11 through JustPark. 15 minute or so walk from the ground, for those that don't want to use the tube. Think it's the nearest tube anyway, so you'd be having to walk here regardless.

This is in the congestion zone but on Sunday the rules are a little different, if you arrive before 12pm and leave after 6pm, you won't be subject to pay anything (but do make sure you check this out).

It's in the ULEZ zone and attracts a £12.50 fee 24 hours a day. Still cheaper than parking outside and getting in with a car full.

We used to live in that area of London so know it well.
Redbridge tube station for us.
£3 parking and 4 stops on the central line.to Stratford. Otherwise loads of parking at Westfield shopping centre in Stratford.

Cheers for the help guys, booked myself in at Stratford international car park. Only a 15 minute walk away from the ground, so will definitely do for me.

I've had a little nosy and looking at using Epping to get tube/overground into Stratford. NCP Car Park right next to it with 500 spaces and less than £10 for parking.
