Quoted Text
We don't always get everything right, but we make every decision in the best interest of our clubs and the competition and we hope that fans will understand the challenge of balancing, securing a showpiece venue and the consequent costs involved with doing that.

The London Stadium has shown this season in particular what a special atmosphere it can create for big games. West Ham’s Europa League exploits are a strong reference point to this. It is a stadium with world class facilities, and we believe it’ll stage a brilliant final on Sunday.

Go and then, tell us. At which point did you realise there weren’t going to be any seats behind either goal at your fúcking showpiece venue, you absolute clowns.

A showpiece final at an athletics stadium, which is well known throughout football as having poor views and a poor atmosphere. Where do we sign?

Blah Blah blah

balderdash balderdash balderdash

At least they acknowledge that the main sponsors and the Lottery are helping with large sums of money to help fans to get to see the game.......

........but they themselves are doing sweet intercourse all to help.

Why does the final money get spread amongst all teams? Why not go 50-50 for the two finalists as they are the ones that have done all the hard work and are having to play an extra long season.

100% correct. The whole thing stinks and hopefully we’ll get out of this league so that we never ever have anything to do with it again.

The most non-statement ever, with the underlying message appearing to be “we understanding the difficulties facing people right now, but frankly we don’t give a sh1t. This is showpiece, we wanted the Olympic stadium so bloody deal with it”

Couple of questions.

Why did the league only discover in November Wembley wasn’t available? The 7 p’s anyone!!

When did they league know, and when would you have time clubs and fans the Belinda would have no seats behind the goal, this severely limiting the chance of creating a decent atmosphere!

Shambles and incompetence as usual!!

Couple of questions.

Why did the league only discover in November Wembley wasn’t available? The 7 p’s anyone!!

When did they league know, and when would you have told clubs and fans there would be no seats behind the goal due to planning for summer concerts, this severely limiting the chance of creating a decent atmosphere! Surely West Ham mentioned this at the time of booking, did they offer you half price and you jumped at it?!?

Shambles and incompetence as usual!!

That Wembley is tied up is not the problem, its the decision making afterwards.
That ThankYouDay has been planned for some time so nobody should be surprised.
Once Wembley is not possible, then plan B has so many options that the London Stadium should have been Plan Z.
But like all these organisations, they live in a totally different world. The Directors of NL will not have to cram on a coach or look for budget hotels or see where they can park outside a ULEZ not to get fined. 1st class train, Taxi to the Ritz, what's the problem?
At the stadium, you will sit next to a building site, drink pricey coffee from paper cups and they will sit in Director boxes, ticket freebies eating Prawn Sandwiches and quaffing Champagne. What's the problem? Those fans do moan a lot.

Please let us win so we can escape this urine poor league again. Screw the lack of coverage in the league, at least we won't have shambolic situations like this and will get highlights in the evening after a game instead of the BT dictatorship demanding no highlights for 48 hours.

It has been reported on another club’s fan site that the 2022 Charity Shield will be at .........Leicester, not Wembley!  No idea for the change.

But it makes the London Stadium selection look even worse.

Looking at capacity for our playoff Solihull were a reasonable bet to reach the final.  Everything knows they that do not have a large away following.  Any reasonably sized up north would have been ok.

All the Bromley and Boreham Wood fans and players will turn up to a locked stadium and it will turn out the national League only enquiried about the stadium, they never actually booked it!

According to the Wembley website nothing happening Saturday or Sunday, so why not Wembley? Another National League stitch up with no thought for players or supporters.

They think we want a day out in London
They think it’s a treat for small clubs fans like us
Please all resign as this statement only confirms how out of touch you are
I can name several better locations that would facilitate this showpiece final
And you’ve known since October ????
We deserve better consideration NL a lot better
