Wonder if the sponsor will say Europe’s green town…

What the billboard actually says is England's Green Town.

Green Town .... Surely it's a play on words for Grimsby Town with a new sponsor who is a green energy provider.

Does anyone actually know anything about this company ?
As in what’s it worth and how well can they back the Mariners ?

Let’s hope it’s the start of a long lasting sponsorship if they back us well

projected c £25 million turnover this financial year. Local business run by people who are either local, who are based in area. Sorry to be sexist, but she's quite a stunner!
They make products which allow those with solar or wind power to use the energy they generate to utilise it in their own premises, rather than sell any surplus (which is at a shiite rate) to the energy companies

(I stand ready to be corrected by posters who actually know what they're talking about!)

On the billboards, the lettering is black on a white background.

Just googled them - christ on a bike, there’s one particular fact in your post that’s bang on! But of course, this is all secondary to the topic at hand, the wonderful new situation GTFC finds itself in x.

When I did safety related work for them out at Binbrook, they were manufacturing electric car charging points from component parts to finished article.

I think they now have a presence in at least 6 countries and are expanding more each year.

Waiting to expand premises at the new Stallingborough Business Park as far as I can see.

Skilful work, combined with high technology and forward thinking R & D !

I could see that they were going places.

A good idea to give the user more control over the output of their solar panels. As long as the hardware is reliable and the software is kept secure, up to date and without serious bugs, you can see why they are doing well. The only issue might occur if one of the big manufacturers tried to eat their lunch, so to speak and produce their own equivalents of the hardware and software. More likely that they would be bought out for their technology stack, however.

Must admit that I'd never heard of them before and had no idea that they were local, but that's not surprising considering I don't have solar panels on my house or an electric vehicle of any sort!
