It puts you in a better negotiating position when you secure promotion and you're a starting regular. I'd expect that securing promotion and becoming a league club again moved the goal posts as far as contract negotiations go and improved offers will be tabled, probably the same with most of the contract negotiations.

No idea if the contract offers will be accepted or not but I'm more confident than I would have been in previous years for some reason!

No real surprises other than Sousa, but I agree with all of it.  I thought we had options on Waterfall and Efete?  Slightly concerned that they might be poached now.

Gutted about Sousa.  Gave his all for the team.  We all know his weakness but I think he put in some good balls in the final.  I wish the man well.

I’d imagine we know where we stand with the majority of the lads that we’ve offered contracts to now.

PH will surely go away on holiday for a period of time now and it allows us to continue to release “good news” on slower news days.

Pleased Scannell has been offered a contract.  When fit, he has proved that he offers something different to the team.  And should be able to do this in Div 2.

I think we all appreciate Sousa’s effort but, in truth, Scannell’s little run in the team showed up his weaknesses. Wish him well for the future and I’m sure he’ll find a club in the National League.
