Like others have said LJL, Adlard, Mani and Abraham's have all left in the striker position and we now name 7 subs this year so Danilo could be 1 of 3 more strikers we bring in this season.
Think he looks decent. Scored alot of goals in a mediocre Maidenhead side. Has a 1 in 3 record at Boreham wood and Harrogate despite limited appearances and may well benefit from a regular run and good coaching from Hurst/ Doig/ Davies.
Good size and a bit of pace with an eye for goal plus wanted by Hurst last year. You'll do for me.

John McAtee Scunthorpe 44 apps 4 goals, Grimsby 36 apps 14 goals.
Just depends on how Orsi is used and encouraged.

And still, some fans of other clubs have branded him as not that good because he only got 14 goals. Thus proving the theory that plenty of football fans don’t know anything apart from looking at the goals scored column and using that as the main way of proving a players worth. It’s so daft.

Look at him in the play off semi, scored a real quality goal and his play for Taylor’s goal was excellent. In the final he was on his backside one minute spotted space and 15 seconds later it was 1 - 1.

From what I’ve seen on the show reel of Orsi he looks like he’s switched on and reads play well, just like McAtee, we just need Taylor to sign and I think AN Other and we’ll have the strike force sorted out.

Excellent signing and well worth a punt. This is not a Holloway random signing, Hurst has been watching him for a while, my gamble , he will be good

I expect Paul Hurst's knowledge of this player amounts to a bit more than two minutes of "research" on Wikipedia!

It also says you have to let the manager work his magic.
PH hasn't the luxury of buying in-form ready-to-go players. He has to double guess that (A) the player that is on a free because although didn't play well, can play well/much better with motivation. Not easy.
But from what I can see PH is trying to stiffen the defence, and protect Crocombe, who I feel protects his area better than McKeown did, but needs work on his reflex stops.
I feel good up to now with Maher and Orsi signed up. Bring on season 2022-23 I say.

Looking for some magic signing in midfield next, there are spaces to fill and accurate crosses will be required, along with some strong running.

Hoping that we can get Raikhy back to make more progress.

Striker - Where did the Muldoon rumour come from?

Someone of that ilk with a League 2 scoring record would be a real coup.

Whoever comes in within the next week or so could be a catalyst for the hesitaters who haven't resigned yet.

Plenty of speculative names being thrown down in the Forum, but who would have foreseen young Danilo sneaking through the door?

We still look to be aiming at the A list thus far, and Hurst looks to want a good season and not struggle near the relegation area.

Forget the Telegraph - these are the pages to be reading !!

At the start of last seaon I seem to recall we were all commenting on the lack of strikers in the squad. With this signng we are now looking very strong in this department.

Orsi is a Podge type player. Needs a good passing midfielder to bring the best out of him. Not his fault he 'failed' at Harrogate. How him Taylor n McAtee can work is 1 thing I'm scratching my head over, but obviously ph has a) been chasing him for over a year , b) still wants to sign him and c) obviously has  a plan to make it work

have a look at the showreel and spot how many times the stocky black no. 6 midfielder shows up in providing passes for his goals
