"It's an underdog story" says Reynolds. I think that's what they call foreshadowing in the movies.

I've said it before that I think they will almost skip over the play off game and just show that they were unlucky losers to an underdog team and that'll be all. Doubt they will show much of it

I reckon they will run with parkinsons mantra that they were unfairly undone out of it by terrible refereeing decisions, and completely gloss over being given a pen that wasn't and the handball goal.

Can’t wait for this. Thought I’d seen McAtee’s goal from every camera angle available so delighted there’ll be plenty more footage of it. The ground was swimming with cameras on the day, drones flying over, camera operators all over the shop but they all vanished into thin air at full time. BT, of course, abandoned their customary shot of Reynolds after each goal when Waterfall scored and I’ve never seen any footage of their owners after the game, so this should be good.
Wonder if they’ll gloss over Mullin’s dive and handball? Should get a decent angle of Crocombe’s karate kick though, hhiiiii-yaa!

No doubt they'll concentrate on that incident and how unlucky they were and completely gloss over the non-penalty and handball!

Looks to be another great production, I do love these sports docu series, Last chance U and the Sunderland ones were fantastic.
Must watch for me, with the added bonus knowing that we got the pot of gold at the end of the fairytale!

Skip to the last episode or two…be funny watching them lose to Bromley and then no doubt spending the week bigging themselves up for the plays offs to suddenly remember they have Phil Parkinson in charge…
Can’t flipping wait to see Mcatees goal again…dya reckon if I sent the seat I took home with me to Wrexham they’ll get Reynolds to sign it…

First trailer dropped the other day, no sign of Town on it, but Shaun Pearson is featured! Will be an interesting watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9hLsktkGfA
Brief clip of Town in there. Blue away shirt with 32 on the back (Cropper?)

Having seen that Reynolds is executive producer of this documentary its hardly going to be neutral so yeah, given that Reynolds has decided to persevere with parkinson I am pretty sure they will go with the narrative above.

I wonder if they'll go full hollywood and throw in some cgi to make the pen look more than it was. They'll almost certainly won't use the TV commentary

I hope they don’t rewrite/obscure the finale. The series could not have had a more dramatic end. It’s absolute gold, regardless of what team you support. To try and reframe it to suit an agenda would be insane. Hopefully, from a film making perspective, they’ll know what they’ve got here. I’m sure series two will have the have the ending they’re really looking for.

I doubt it'll be like when North Korea got smashed at the world cup by Brazil but North Korean TV just showed selective clips of North Korean tackles going in with an orchestral soundtrack picked by their glorious leader. I'm pretty sure the next series will see them go up and it won't be a highly entertaining ongoing season by season documentary of abject failure like the Sunderland one.

I think it will be a good watch anyway. Can't imagine it will be scripted like the Man City one felt on Amazon.
I don't mind Wrexham, and have no problem with all this going on. Although its easier to say after last season.
They've got good fans, feel like a proper club. Just hope they don't get bored and leave them in a big mess in 2/3 years time.

It's a documentary about Wrexham, not a BBC news report. Of course it won't be neutral. I suspect they'll be complaining the world was against them and ignore that the ref was awful for both sides and it cancelled out.

You don’t have to wait to see Mcatees goal, Trust me I have watched that video come back kings about 30 times. Doesn’t matter how I feel when I start watching it I’m always buzzing by the end. No question my favourite video of all time

With enough CGI, we could see them winning the Champions League at the end of the next season with Reynolds invited to lift the trophy instead of the team captain!

He'd have to get in front of John Terry first.

‘We had no direct connection with Wrexham’. So the whole point of their little ‘project’ is just a money making scheme. I’m sorry, much though I like Wrexham as a club I genuinely hope that they continue to crash and burn while those two are involved. Everything they do cheapens lower league/non-league football, they make Mike Ashley look genuine.

This in spades…parkinson is a dinosaur and just one dimensional. I’m aware that in the conference that could see you well but when it mattered, they just didn’t do it. They have a cracking squad, they should be easy on the eye to watch and they should’ve brushed us aside but Parkinson’s tactics are shite…

I didn't mean neutral as in covering both sides equally etc like a news report obviously. I mean as in a documentary looking on as a dispassionate observer of the subject, showing whatever they wanted, and possibly not in a good way to the subject. Lion King is the obvious one but the Sunderland one was also pretty embarrassing for them at times (like the will grigg transfer). However with Reynolds as exec producer they're not going to go down that route. Shame really cos they're the best ones!
