I’m drawing a line under the Smith shouts now unless new information is provided. Posters will, however, be deducted points for including him in lineups if he subsequently doesn’t sign prior to that match. Sorry, I don’t make the rules!

Same as last season wasn't it?  Taylor got injured in the pre-season opener against Clee Town.  Ruled out of the opener, Hurst telling everyone he wasn't anywhere near fit....

"McAtee?  nah, I wouldn't bother trying to poach him mate, his shoulder is only attached by plasters at the minute, he'll be useless until at least Jan" - PH a few weeks ago.  I'll take the new injuries with a pinch of salt until the team is officially announced

In Hursts latest interview he says there are a couple more injuries. So who knows.

But putting Smith in is no brainier. Great to see him back. Who knows, maybe we might end up signing him permanently eventually?

Tough call on Amos but Glennon has been here before and we know what he can do.

Overall I don’t think Holohan was much better than average last season (nothing wrong with that) but for me he deserves to start the season and have Morris try and battle his way in. I see Green as the starter since Morris said he sees himself more as an ‘8’ but can play other roles.

PH sounded fairly sombre about new injuries. Could be a straight forward lie or maybe somebody important is out? "You'll know as soon as you see the team sheet"
