Remember coming out of the away end at Chesterfield when we won 3-2 and Kevin Kimore scored.
It was a dead end at Saltergate and I thought that was it.
Walked straight through  the hostile gents on their way to  sort out Grimsby fanc
No police presence.

They were wet, cold, dark and cold whatever the time of year. Proper football ground was Saltergate.

I took a mate to saltergate on a Tuesday night once. Not a huge football fan and his only experience had been white hart lane and the odd visit to anfield etc…

He went for a urine, stood in the big and asked me where the toilets were…I just laughed and pointed at a piece of concreted in guttering and said ‘urine there’…

Twitter rumours suggesting it was an unused Chesterfield substitute that he used to play with at Carlisle.

"Injury news" and line-ups will make it pretty obvious over the next couple of weeks though.


At least one of the 2 unused substitutes from last game not in the squad tonight.  No word from Police spending a week looking at a video suggesting incident filmed.
