I think Maher will just have to wait his chance. But I'd be having Orsi and Khan in for Richardson and Kiernan. With the exception of Smith we should be playing our own players ahead of loanees in my opinion, and JMD should be ahead of any of the loanees as 1st sub on whenever we are chasing a goal.

Khan making a strong case for Harry’s role in Saturday’s team, Harry making a strong case to start central.

The problem with led lighting is they get dimmer every time they are used . they slowly burn out . They will all need replacing in a couple of years I'd guess

That would’ve harsh on Richardson and Kiernan, who have been excellent contributors but obviously several players have made a strong claim, which is what you’d want.. Nice problem to have. What’s clear is that Hurst has assembled a quality squad with depth and a strong, collective desire. Huge credit there.

JMD got to be in for Kiernan.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Remember Khan is coming back from a serious injury.Doubt he can play a whole 90 minutes. let alone 2 games in a week. Might well be worth  a place on the bench to come on for Kiernan
