Max is clearly an upgrade on Macca, who by the way saved us loads and loads of points during his Town career which shouldn’t be forgotten.

As well as being a good keeper technically his self confidence & concentration that he displays has a positive impact on everyone around him.

I think people need to be sensible re Glennon as he’s still in the developing stage and it won’t always work well but he will no doubt be right up there with the best left backs we’ve had in recent years once he’s got more miles under his belt. His goal against Crawley & his ball to Hunt for the 3rd yesterday illustrates the added extra he brings too.

I see the Telegraph gave Max a 6, doesn't align with what people are saying or to the views expressed by the commentary team.

Maybe they are looking at the fumble for Stockport's goal?

Max was joint with Harry for MotM for me.

Bit of a fumble for their goal but all-in-all, the way Max is playing this season- best keeper since Coyne (barring Dean Henderson), just pipping Mildenhall.

The cult of Henderson again.

The cult of Henderson again.

Or the recognition that a player who has gone on to play in the premiership and even for England was really good for us (albeit briefly).

Mildnehall was class in that season for us, no doubt. He arguably had a better defence in front of him. I'd have to go back and watch all the highlights from that season to make a true comparison but it feels like Crocombe has been up at those levels so far this season, making 2 great saves yesterday and claiming virtually everything- and for that save in the play off final, he goes just ahead for me.
