In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Most likely we will meet Cambridge away. Potential banana-skin that one, I`m afraid.

No doubt it’ll be Cambridge, drab game and we’ll lose to a excrement piece of defending in an uninspiring match that lasts about 30 seconds in the memory…

Curzon, in their defence seemed happy with the draw.

And Wrexham booing us and Stockport…flipping melts.

Hopefully the replay is on the tele but not seen anything. Here’s hoping Curzon can get through then it’ll be a much better draw.

Disappointing as you'd expect it to be Cambridge and beating a league 1 side away will be tough. However, we've decent away form,Cambridge are struggling but will be expected to win so will probably push forward and leave gaps behind like Plymouth did, and we certainly exploited that.

Lost last three home League games and look like they are in a relegation battle. Looks like a routine away win for us ( if you can erase Barrow and Hartlepool from your memory).

They’re unfortunately the most recent 2 away games in memory 😅

17th in the national league north and some on here are papping it about a potential banana skin!

Wouldn’t say a trip to Cambridge moistens my gusset but a trip to Curzon would be decent.

Come on guys it's not that bad, Cambridge are beatable we can do this.

The only thing that bothers me is it's only up the road from me

But

We will get less than 2,000 tickets and we have 5,500 season ticket holders.

So no chance of getting a ticket or four .

Round three Man Utd away please.

We just trounced the top team in Div 1. Surely we have a better than evens chance of beating Cambridge, 18th in that division, on their own patch should they win tomorrow night. We just need to be 'up for it' and fearless on the day. We are good enough to progress if determined enough.

Had to laugh a few weeks ago, i was driving the car somewhere and was flipping radio channels and ended up on BBC Radio Lincolnshire. At the time they had a short report on the Boston v Curzon game that was on that day. They gave the official attendance at something like 1700 and then the away following of Curzon fans......5 !!. Nearly crashed the car with laughing.

I don’t think you’d have to worry about a ticket, I’m sure someone would happily get you and aside from Hartlepool, we’ve not really had the scramble for away tickets that was expected…

Don't think we need to fear either of these teams. Cambridge may be L1but they are miles off the pace that Plymouth are set setting. Ok, it's away, but our away form is excellent.

This is not a great draw, but it's certainly not an unwinnable one.

Train drivers are striking on this date (26/11) so going to be difficult to get to and from whoever we play.
