Had scouts from Grimsby at the Darlo game wanting to take a closer look at both Mark Beck (leagues top scorer) and our Middlesbrough loanee Daniel Dodds.

I’d be a bit surprised about Beck to be honest. Seen him play for Harrogate a few times and he’s a big unit and good in the air but he’s not league quality in my view. Probably not even conference.

Was talking to Joe Hutchinson who’s a scout for you’s and he said he was interested in looking at them both.

Probably more Dodds as he’s 21, and a class RB. Way too good for our level. Would be a decent level for him if he come to you after our loan spell.
