Crocombe has seen the master at work to learn from to develop his considerable potential, one of the greatest displays of shithousery at the end there from Martinez

I know footballers aren’t politicians…so why shake hands with this human detritus. Just get your medal and don’t shake their hands.

Now Messi’s wearing a fückin nighty. Embarrassing.

I mean…let’s say Grimsby beat Oxford in next year’s FA Cup Final and Robert Maxwell was still alive (he’d be 100 next year but bear with me) and their Chairman, if Luke Waterfall shook Maxwell’s hand I’d disown him.

Great entertainment and the best side on the day won.

Although most of us thought it should not have gone to Qatar the finals have been a success and very enjoyable.

Now back to reality ,  Come On Town let's get some good players in come January and climb up this league .!!!

A great advert for football seen across the world.

A precedent has been set for penalty shoot-outs. The keeper can nick the ball and then throw it away just as the penalty-taker walks up. No sanctions taken that make a difference.

Before penalty shoot-outs the referee gives both keepers numerous instructions.  Why not say that keepers should not touch the ball before a penalty?  There is no need to.

And Geoff Hurst remains the only player to score a hat trick in a World Cup final…………and win.

It is remarkable to score a hat trick in any final and lose. I can’t remember that happening in any competition.

Puskas in the 1962 European Cup final is the only one that I can think of.

Couldn't have asked for much more from a World Cup final and both teams carried on trying to win it in extra time, which isn't always the case.
