I don’t get booing. Never will.

For me, football is a sport and I stay until the final whistle, win lose or draw.

In the event of a big defeat, I like to reflect on what went wrong, what could be improved upon etc. I certainly don’t Chuck me dummy out of the pram. It’s football, a sport, and things like this happen.

What does bother me is idiots that scream and shout obscenity’s at players etc from the stand. I had 2 geezers sat in front of me against Salford, who I’ve never seen before. One was quiet but the other was obviously a football expert that spouted so much rubbish. Highlight of my night was when he turned to me and said we play better with 2 up front than with 1 up front 🤦‍♂️

His level of overpowering obscenity shouting was unbelievable. He didn’t give a damn whether or not there was youngsters sat nearby (there was).

Fortunately he went for a beer early in the first half and left early in the second half. As it was taking me all of my effort to try and ignore him without making a scene and telling him to shut up. Certainly the ugly face of football.

I don’t boo. I have an opinion on what I see, but I just don’t get the booing thing
