A white card was shown in a Portuguese football match. I've never heard of it but it's new in Portugal to recognise fair play.

It was awarded but then VAR ruled it out because the centre half had called the opposing winger a c*nt in the build up.

In Portugal?  Never.  Must have bribed the ref.  What did he get it for?  Not diving or feigning an injury?  Must have been the physio.

Yeah, but it was a woman's game, so you'd sort of expect them not to be play acting and cheating.

Issue more yellows and reds for unsporting behaviour rather than giving a new card.
