World Book Day - school in Birmingham - where's the head from? The GRIMSBY area!!

And yet another Harry the Haddock mention from him!

Another mention from Helen Skelton and Gethyn Jones in the opening handover from Breakfast Time.

Every piece of positive publicity moves us forward into people's minds.

Recently on the Fishy we had several posts pointing out that young footballers would see us as a non-league/L2 'yo-yo' team.

Hopefully this may now be revised to 'a team that makes FA Cup history in front of loads of demented fans'.

And they just might fancy a bit of that....

In my local coffee shop.  Ordered a victory latte. From a non -  footy woman.

She brought it over - the receipt says Victory Latte!  As she pointed out.

Absolutely agree with that. Great point. If you said ‘no thanks’ to us, ‘I’ll take my chances elsewhere’….watch and learn. Those scenes. The professional elation for those players and staff. That top class support worthy of any stage, any competition…..screw you. Do enjoy your mid table non league minutes against Dorking and Maidenhead. You could’ve been a Mariner and had a bit of that.

I work for a blue chip company in a global role and I'm being inundated with messages of congratulations from colleagues, suppliers and friends. It's great.

And I'm hoarse from the non stop singing. It was a bit special to be part of that last night. Well done to everyone for showing Grimsby in such a positive light.
