Tickets on Sale from 10pm tonight

Has to be said I'm struggling to think of ways in which this is a sensible decision.

I'm usually quite open to all different ideas in the search of finding a good system, sometimes coming from a little 'out the box' thinking that might not make sense at first and defies logic but does actually work. The only thing I could come up with on this one is the club are trying to appease those who argue about inability to utilise the technology and give them an opportunity after the game to get a ticket before they're hoovered up online.

But if what Golly mentioned about a 70-30% split is accurate then that blows that idea out the water and returns it very much to a mad idea. Unless the plan changes, I dread to think what will happen if it gets to midnight and any queuing town fans are told to go home. I honestly can't make my mind up whether we have enough bonkers fans who'd queue at that time to get their tickets or whether they'll 'gamble' on the online route.

I suppose the only other possible logic from Towns perspective is that they don't envision many people will queue and will wait til online and therefore can placate the non-tech folk (who are likely to be at the ground anyway) whilst the tech folk wait til midnight and crack on.

It has made me so angry I am almost tempted to say intercourse it then I am not going  even though I have been waiting for this game for 60 years. Hang on a minute maybe we have a mastermind in charge after all and that was the plan they came up with to temper demand

I’ve got mates at work who aren’t season ticket holders and only go to a handful of games but they don’t need to worry about getting tickets as they are being sorted by friends who work for the club in some capacity!

Absolute ridiculous idea this is, so you're going to get people leaving in their droves at 60 min mark, maybe even half time to queue up, by the time full time comes and the rest leave they will have to fight through queues of fans, has others has said when do the ticket office staff call it a day? I can't see them working all night serving fans queuing up! How do they do deal with the unhappy fans when they tell them at nearly midnight they are closing now?

I will be at the game tonight but I am absolutely not waiting in the queue for tickets, and I will do it online at 12:01 despite having to be in work tomorrow! Absolute lunacy

You won't do it online at 12.01 as the website will crash and we'll all be spending hours refreshing and watching a excrement digital countdown.

I have emailed a complaint to the ticket office on this issue. Two tier priority for tickets determined by whether you can or cannot make tonight’s game is appalling. Cynically I’d guess that this is for a photo op.

Having made this decision they will have to stay open until the queues gone if they shut at midnight and turn people away after 2 hours in queue at -3 degrees there will be a riot. They also need to put stewarding in place to deal with queue and people leaving at same time.
