Utter rubbish. It costs a lot of money raised by the licence fee for highlights, and it's been squandered. It could be sorted by an apology and a reinstatement of GL.

I failed to enjoy last night's "motd" because without post match analysis, post match interviews and commentary during the game is bland highlights I could quite as easily have seen on YouTube and thats not what I watch motd for. The sooner they come to a resolution on the situation and get people back the better for me, not saying it has to be Lineker although I dont mind him but what I saw last night wasn't motd.

Not seen it yet, but without commentary I can't see how it's worth watching. I normally skip the studio sections so couldn't care less about Lineker, Shearer and Wright. But they need to sort it out. Difficult situation though, feels like Lineker needs to go or else the BBC have no authority whatsoever over their employees. If that means everybody else leaves then I wouldn't care.
