Sorry pal anybody who picks and plays Henderson constantly over the likes of Foden,Grealish,Maddison amongst others is never going to win anything. If England picked there best eleven you'd need two foitballs even Brazil would struggle to get the ball.

You clearly didn’t get the point I was making. If the culture around the side wasn’t fixed we’d have more tournament finishes like the 2014 World Cup & 2016 Euros.

For what it’s worth I think Henderson should have been discarded after the last Euros.

I saw the last 20 minutes and I thought that the goal should have been disallowed as he was running.

Bellingham saves England's blushes with a 5th minute injury time equaliser.

Not really blushes. There was some very good play by England tonight, deserved a draw at least. Two shocking errors for their goals .
This was an England reserves side apart from a couple of players

In other news Wales v Poland is on a knife edge, could be going to penalties.

Watching the Welsh penalties now. 4 out of the first 6 were hit straight down the middle of the goal, and all went in!

Should have picked Clifton.

And they are out. Lots of decent penalties but a lack of conviction for the last one. The only one which either of the keepers got close to.

I don't think Southgate is that bad as an international manager - the game against Italy in that Euro's final was there for the taking though - I felt that was our big chance for a trophy and we bottled it big time - Italy were no great shakes but we reverted to type of trying to see out a 1-0 after 6 minutes or however quickly we scored .

I thought in the Qatar world cup game against France we played regreshingly well and were unlucky so he deserves this tournament at least ; I don't really care for the qualifying or friendlies tbh as it all seems pretty predictable and in the friendlies you can see it's not players going for it 100% a lot of the time .

We played some good stuff at times last night, but the number of times we were tip-tapping at the edge of their box (or inside it), yet didn't get a shot away was really frustrating. I'm comparison, they got a shot on goal or a cross in almost every time they entered our box.

Terrible errors from the defence for their goals. No idea what Pickford was doing and I've no idea why Dunk panicked and lunged in to try and clear that ball. He was ahead of Lukaku and could have tapped it out easily if he'd taken another pace or two. A beautiful cross from Lukaku for the goal after that, however.

A very inexperienced defence in international terms once Stones went off, and Gomez just isn't up to it as a full-back. Chilwell did OK after an apparently poor performance on Saturday night (only caught the odd snatch of that game). Toney took the penalty well, managed a couple of decent runs but otherwise didn't do a great deal, albeit against a very solid defence.

Watkins did well to stop the ball going out for the equaliser but I don't think he's near being a top-quality international striker. If Kane is injured, we'll struggle as Toney, Watkins and Rashford aren't good enough reliably enough in my opinion.

We've got some very talented midfielders (Mainoo looked very capable last night for such a young lad), but I'm not sure that will be quite enough unless someone like Bellingham has a fantastic tournament.

Just as long as Henderson doesn't get near the squad...
