On the basis that agents are a necessary evil and there is correlation between the budget and agent fees, I count 10 teams with a lower spend on agents than ourselves, suggesting that our budget was probably a mid-table budget. No surprises to see Wrexham at the top of the list, but FGR are likely to finish bottom of the pile this season and they spent the second most on agents (£226k). Apart from FGR, as mentioned above, Salford spent £160,000 and depending on results could finish below us You can please some of the forumites some of the time but not all the forumites all of the time

They’ll get their money either way. If they know a club won’t pay their fees then the player wage demands will be higher and they’ll take their cut that way. The club pays one way or another.

What on Earth have Fleetwood been doing? That spend is almost as barmy as the FGR figure given where they are in the table.
