Didn't know Green was playing until he put the ball in for Obikwu in the 45th minute. Thompson huffed and puffed. Back three looking OK apart from that, utter dross. We need to be miles better in the second half or they will run away with the game. In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions. Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD

One of those games that makes you think 'get rid of the lot ' whereas Saturday was one that made you think 'maybe keep a few ' i think with head and not heart closer to the former not the latter is probably the requirement if we want a much better season next time out . Too much inconsistency from too many players on too much of a regular basis imo.
