Not really a rumour thread this is it? More a speculation thread about this or that player being out of contract, or who would be nice to have.

We know that the club are pursuing a data lead approach so really the only meaningful rumors should stem either from players being sighted at the club, or from insider information.

Thought Odoh was shite with zero end product personally, exactly the same as when he was at Rochdale. On the other hand I thought Derrick Abu who Harrogate had on loan from Southampton and played at right back for them against us a few weeks ago was superb. Doubt there's much chance Southampton would loan him out to League Two again next season but he's definitely one i'd be happy to have here.


Probably the best player we've played against this season that Abu. He'll be playing a lot higher up.

Just watching him in the playoff final. He had a good game and got MoM. Apparently he’d not scored in the previous 7 games.
Quite liked their keeper, Gregory too.

Well as this is a speculation thread I will offer this.

Paul Ward at Derby is into data. He assembled the squad that got them promoted on a shoestring. He has now stated that this squad is not good enough  for the Championship as is going to be disassembled.

So there will be several good players available. We could do worse than look at some of them, providing they meet our data criteria.

It’s is through another good example of the use of data analytics.
