"No disrespect to the likes of Grimsby..."
How many time do we hear that famous quip from managers, chairmen, players and, occasionally, fans?
The only time I heard anything remotely positive in recent days was when Blackburn chairman Jack Walker was reminded that rather than playing the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool, the fallen Rovers would have to visit teams like Grimsby.
His instant response was "there's nothing wrong with Grimsby - they have nice fish and chips".
It was worth a try eh?
