Bury 1 Grimsby Town 2

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 26/12/2005

Town won at Gigg Lane this afternoon after Bury snatched the lead in the 13th minute with a goal by Danny Reet. Bury showed why they had beaten Wycombe and it was a good game by both sides.

Town came back into the game with an equaliser by Gary Jones in the 29th minute and it was Town who settled it with the winner from Cohen in the 75th minute. Town had to hang on with injury time being 4 minutes due to a streaker on the pitch during the second half.

Town now sit in second place in the league with 40 points and Wycombe on 42

Town: Mildenhall, Croft, Jones, Whittle, Newey, Cohen, Toner, Bolland, Parkinson, Reddy, Jones.

Subs: Ramsden, Downey, Kamudimba Kalala, Gritton, Hegarty.

A report will be on here shortly.
