Grimsby v Woking Team News

GRIMSBY and Woking, two of the Conference form teams, clash tonight in a clash of an immovable force versus an unstoppable object. Grimsby have won three games on the spin without conceding a goal, whereas Woking have won six consecutive games and have soared up the table to become outside play-off contenders.

Grimsby have defended like crazy for the last three games, keeping clean sheets in all of them, and limiting the opposition to very few chances. Woking's strength is in attack, their wide players Goddard and Betsy are both dangerous, and the front two of Rendell and Marriot are a good combination of experience and youth. The Cards create lots of chances so Town's defence will have to be at their very best to keep another clean sheet.

Neither side is expected to make any changes from a winning line-up.

Last season Woking win the equivalent fixture 5-1 after Woking took an early lead through Kevin Betsy. Town have won both the games at Kingfield which have taken place since then to give themselves a 100% record against the Surrey side.
