Wolves Match Postponed

Tonight's Worthington Cup match at Blundell Park with Wolves has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch. A pitch inspection was held at 6pm after heavy rain in the Grimsby area all day. The match is likely to be played next Tuesday, but this is to be confirmed.
The match was called off after the majority of Wolves fans had left for the game, no doubt causing great inconvenience to them. To any Wolves fans reading this, you have our sympathies. With Grimsby and Wolves already scheduled to play each other 3 times in the next 3 weeks (twice in the cup and once in the league), the postponed game means that the Mariners and Wolves ties will be lumped even closer together than already was the case.
