Give Me Noise Says Groves!

GRIMSBY Town boss Paul Groves wants noise at Blundell Park tonight in the relegation dogfight with Stockport County. With Town expecting almost 7,000 fans there, Groves wants the fans to drown out the visitors.
"The fans have helped build our little head of steam." Said Groves to the Grimsby Telegraph. Their level of support in the last games has been tremendous and if they can keep that up it will be a big boost for us. They have a part to play and they're starting to play it."
"I think the general noise of the place, with fans being all around the ground, will make it more intimidating for the opposition."
"It's an opportunity to draw level with Crewe. But what the others do doesn't concern us. This is going to be the hardest game of the run-in because they're bottom and fighting for their lives. We need to be positive and get at them. Be under no illusions, it won't be easy."
"They've got the option to be direct, but the reports we've had say that they're playing football as well. But whatever they throw at us we have to deal with. We have to get after them and take the game to them. That's what we're aiming to do."
