Who will win League 2?

A Call For Help!

By: W.I.S.A.
Date: 20/06/2002

SINCE the Franchise Association commission announced their decision and gave permission for Dr Evil, aka Charles Koppel, permission to drag the rotting corpse of Wimbledon FC (RIP) over 70 miles north to Milton Keynes, WISA has been planning its next course of action.

One thing we pledged to do when we had our AGM on the 30th of May, as well as backing the setting up of the new club, AFC Wimbledon, we also said we would continue to fight.

And since the 28th of May, we have had an overwhelming demand from supporters up and down the country that we call for a nationwide boycott of the Frankenstein WFC.

Supporters from any club you care to name have contacted us, telling us that they admire what we've done and to tell us not to give up.

We're not.

We are currently lobbying supporters to join the football world in their mass opposition to this dangerous precedent and, as supporters of all clubs, we ask you to throw your weight behind our campaign.

How can you help?

All we ask is that you refuse to attend ANY football match involving WFC Ltd and you can do this in any number of ways.

If your team is playing Wimbledon FC - wherever they play next season or beyond - you could organise a football match with some of our supporters, or come and down and watch AFC Wimbledon at Kingstonian in Kingston, South London (details to be announced on www.afcwimbledon.co.uk) - we could have a little Fans United every week! - or demonstrate your opposition in another way that keeps money away from Charles Koppel and his imitation WFC.

Money is what drove this to happen and money is what will make it succeed.

Remember, just as we warned all along, if this franchise works it could be your club next. The report of the FA Commission advocates the extension of football into areas in this manner.

We at WISA don't want Bury in Cornwall, Swindon in Dorset or Brighton playing in Telford, and we're sure you don't either.

What we want is football, for the fans.

Join us in our fight and keep football clubs in their communities.

If you want to help, contact WISA using any of the following means:
