Ten Heuvel : "Not My Best Game"

LAURENS Ten Heuvel completed his free transfer switch from Sheffield United and spoke about Saturdays game against Plymouth admitting that his performance was below par.

"It's great to have got the deal done." He told the Grimsby Telegraph. "Everything went slowly, but in the end it got sorted out. I didn't really enjoy my debut because I had a poor game. I don't know why, I just didn't feel great. I feel this can be the club for me to get going. I know I can do it - but it didn't work out for me today.

"I didn't impress anybody with the performance, but I'll get there. The performance of the whole team wasn't great. We worked hard and we got a good goal before they equalised out of nothing. In the second half they got a goal and we worked hard to make it 2-2.

"I hope I can prove myself here. I will work hard and we'll see what happens."
