By: Bill Osborne
Date: 10/03/2004

NICKY Law is looking to sign a goalkeeper today and is also trying to add a defender to the squad but Lee Thorpe does not look like returning to Blundell Park.

The Leyton Orient striker could be now in talks with another club about a permanent move, and there is still a question mark over his fitness after his injury during the Wrexham game. But Law has confirmed that he has made enquiries about Hull City defender John Anderson.

Name: John Anderson
Nationality: Scottish
Date of Birth: 02/10/1972
Height: 6' 2" (188cm)
Weight: 12st 2lbs (77.18kg)
Previous Clubs: Morton, Livingston
Position: Central Defender

Born in Greenock John signed for his home team Morton in January 1994. A regular in the team that won the Scottish Second Division title 1995. He became Morton's longest serving player with over 250 appearances.

He switched to Livingstone June 2000. He gained First Division title success in his first season with them. He signed for Hull City from Livingstone.
