New Sponsor For Town?

THERE have been rumours circulating recently amongst the Town fans that Young's Bluecrest are to take over the major sponsorship of the Mariners as Jarvis do not wish to continue.
So far, neither the club or Young's have made any comment or statements to that effect.
The Fishy have now received confirmation from two reliable sources that the rumour is not without foundation and that Young's Bluecrest will in fact be the new shirt sponsors beginning next season.
Although the Fishy team have been aware of this for some time, it was necessary for us to get two confirmations from different sources.
Today we were informed by "a person who should know" that the sponsorship will be going ahead.
In seeking confirmation we were referred by Young's Bluecrest to Brahms Limited, who are acting on their behalf.
Their response was "We are unable to confirm or deny any sponsorship at this stage"
But they did ask if we were prepared to reveal our sources. A request we regretfully declined to comply with.
It will be interesting to see if the club will now issue a statement regarding this change of sponsor.
