Told to be a decent free scoring striker from Holland. That's what Sheffield United thought when they gambled on Ten Heuvel who had already disappointed Barnsley fans in an earlier spell at Oakwell.
Town loaned him from Sheff Utd at the start of the 03/04 season, and in his ever classic fashion dawdled about the field like a lost sheep. He never was able to grasp the life of English football and his loan contract was cancelled.
Ten Heuvel returned to Bramall Lane, and a few days later made a move to De Graffschaap in Holland.
