Beat the Bookies: Week 15

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 02/11/2006

LAST week's bests proved unsuccessful, but the third choice of Lincoln winning at Swindon proved to be a winner. Typical!

Home > 2006-2007 Season > Beat the Bookies > Week 15

This weekend Town are at home to MK Dons where the pressure will really be on Graham Rodger to come up with the goods after last week's spirited performance at London Road. Unfortunately from a betting point of view it is hard to see any value in the 7/5 offered for a Grimsby win. Likewise 13/8 is only a little more appealing for an away win. A match to avoid betting on unless you are very brave!

Bury are the in-form side of League Two having picked up 14 points from their last six games, and won their last 3 away games. The Shakers however are still rated as less likely to win at struggling Rochdale than Dale are to pick up 3 points. Grab 17/10 for Chris Casper's side to triumph in the Lancashire derby.

For those looking for an upset in the Premiership look no further than West Ham to beat Arsenal at Upton Park. The Hammers are a bit of a bogey side for the Gunners, and finally picked up their first win for ages last week. Alan Pardew's side can go one better and sink Arsenal this weekend and you can get 9/2 for a West Ham win.

Recommended Bets

Third best would be Lincoln to win at Swindon but I'm only allowed to bet on two games!
