Simon Grand was signed on loan from Carlisle United in the 2006/2007 season for one month. An old fashioned centre back with the odd look of Tony Crane in him.
He was signed permanently after his loan, but failed to break into the team, only being used for covering injuries.
The former Rochdale man was released by Alan Buckley at the end of the season.
