Beat the Bookies: Week 5

By: Rob Sedgwick

OF the three tips last week just one was a winner! Southport's win over Telford was a bit of a shock, but at least Stevenage managed to beat Rochdale.

Home > 2011-2012 Season > Beat the Bookies > Week 5

Premier League Tip

Wolverhampton v Tottenham - home win (3.1, Victor Chandler). Wolves have got off to a great start this season and are not far off the likes of Spurs at the moment by the looks of it.

Championship Tip

Blackpool v Ipswich - away win (4.5, Hills). Both teams are not firing on all cylinders, but a 2-1 win over Leeds last week by Ipswich is bound to give them confidence over a Blackpool side who haven't won for three games.

League One Tip

Bournemouth v Chesterfield - home win (2.1, Corals). Chesterfield have been dire this season.

League Two Tip

Crewe v Barnet - home win (2.1, Bet365). Both sides are currently propping up the league but Crewe's recent form suggests they are the more likely winners than the 2.1 odds on offer at their own place.

Blue Square Premier Tip

Cambridge Utd v Forest Green - home win (2.15, Victor Chandler). Cambridge have made a solid start to the season, Forest Green didn't look that great last week, so 2.15 looks good odds for a home win.
