Beat the Bookies (Summer): Week 7

LAST week Kent easily beat Surrey but the rest of the tips were not very successful. This week we have a hiatus between Euro 2012/Wimbledon and the Olympics but there's still plenty to bet on. Tennis and cricket take place every day nearly and Rugby League at weekends means there's plenty of things to watch.

Rugby League

Leeds v Wigan - home win (4.0, Victor Chandler). Leeds have a habit of raising their games in the really big game. They don't come much bigger than this!

Tennis

WTA Palermo, Zahlavova Strycova vs Cohen - Cohen (2.85, Marathon). Laura Robson is playing in this tournament in Italy. Her tie against the Italian Roberta Vinci looks too big an ask for the Brit, but another unseeded player Julia Cohen looks in with a shout. Cohen's best surface,, unusually for an American, looks to be clay. If anything it looks Strycova's weakest surface.

Cricket

1st Test - England vs South Africa - South Africa (3.9, Bet365). South Africa always seem to do well over here and England have not got that great a record in recent test series.
