Dartford v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 22/02/2013

GRIMSBY travel to Dartford with a 3-0 cushion from the first leg but hopefully taking nothing for granted after the wake-up call on Tuesday night at Braintree.

Town will approach the game in a positive manner and try and win it independently of the aggregate score. However if Dartford get a lead in the tie Town might change their approach, but the managers have stated that their initial approach will be positive.

Grimsby have no injures, so any changes will be tactical. It's likely that there will be some, not least because the Mariners did lose at Braintree, but also to utilise the whole squad with so many games coming up. John-Lewis came in for Brodie at Braintree, so it's possible that Brodie could start again, but midfield changes are also possible. Town don't have as many options defensively, so the back five will probably remain the same.

Lee Noble will be missing for Dartford despite an appeal from the Kent side against his sending off at Blundell Park. Noble received a four match ban for violent conduct after a clash with Aswad Thomas in injury time.

The Darts didn't play in midweek so will have a few days extra rest over Town.
