Grimsby v Lincoln Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 28/12/2014

TOTO Nsiala is suspended for the next two games after harshly picking up his tenth booking of the season at Macclesfield. The full back should be replaced by Carl Magnay who missed the Macclesfield game through illness.

Other than that Paul Hurst has no known new injuries to contend with, although changes are always possible with the last game just 48-hours ago. 33-year-old Craig Disley started at Macclesfield, he'd be one contender to rest for the visit of Lincoln, if Hurst felt that two games so close together were too much for the veteran midfielder. Craig Clay would be a straight swap for Disley should Hurst go down that route.

Lincoln City will definitely rotate their side for the big derby game. City rested defender Tom Miller for the 3-2 win over Alfreton Town on Boxing Day, while Ben Tomlinson and Alan Power started that match on the bench. All three could feature in the game according to reports in the Lincolnshire Echo.

Town will be looking for revenge after the 3-2 defeat at Sincil Bank in September, which was an extremely harsh result on the Mariners, who deserved at least a point and probably all three from the game.
