GRIMSBY'S impressive pre-season winning run will take another big challenge today when the Mariners take on Notts County today. Town have beaten all six teams they have faced so far, including Huddersfield and Brigg in the last week.

The Mariners have done so without the services of James McKeown who has been in hospital with viral meningitis, but the 'keeper has now recovered and returned to light training this week.

Meanwhile Town's supporters have donated over £100,000 to the Operation Promotion campaign, over five times the original target. It's an extraordinary gesture of support which should really help boost Grimsby's chances of promotion this season. Today is the last day you can give to the campaign Donate.

Those supporters will get their first chance to cheer their team on at Kidderminster in two week time. The match has been made all ticket with season ticket holders given the first bite at the cherry on Monday. There are over 2,000 tickets available, so it's unlikely that Town will exceed their allocation.

Two of Town's games has been moved for TV this week. The home games with Tranmere (Fri 18 Sep) and Cheltenham (Fri 30 Oct) have both been moved forward at day for BT Sport. Fixture List
