Karleigh Osborne Signs For Town

GRIMSBY Town have confirmed the signing of 29-year-old central defender Karleigh Osborne on a # year deal.

Six foot two defender Osborne, from west London, joins The Mariners from SPL outfit Kilmarnock. Osborne started last season at Plymouth Argyle before signing for Kilmarnock on a two-year deal in January. Despite only playing a total of four games last season - partly down to a couple of spells out injured - Town will be paying a fee for Osborne as he is still under contract at Kilmarnock. Although he only played four games last season, Osborne has amassed a wealth of experience which will be invaluable for Town this season. Osborne has made 76 appearances at League Two level throughout his career, and has played an impressive 141 games in League One. Osborne has previously won League Two, with Brentford in 2008-09.
