Morecambe v Grimsby Team News

MICHAEL Jolley has most of his squad available for the opening game at Morecambe. Newcastle loan defender Liam Gibson (groin) is the most significant doubt and striker Harry Cardwell (calf) is also ruled out.
However defender Ludvig Ohman and new forward signing Moses Ogbu, who were rested in the friendly against Peterborough, should be available. Charles Vernam (ankle) is also hopeful of making the squad.
Morecambe have a fully fit squad with the exception of striker A-Jay Leitch-Smith (hamstring).
Both sides struggled in the league last season so the match will give a pointer to how they have progressed over the summer.
