Three New Signings!

GRIMSBY have netted three new signings in the January transfer window - a defender, a midfielder and a striker as boss David Artell looks to strengthen his side across the park.

Defender Doug Tharme has signed from Blackpool for an undisclosed fee in a 2.5-year deal. The 24-year-old never played for Blackpool but has a loan spell at Accrington.

Midfielder Harry Wood is on loan from Hull until the end of the season. 21-year-old Wood has played twice for Hull and also had a loan spell at Scunthorpe when they were last in League Two.

Striker Justin Obikwu has signed on loan until the end of the season from Coventry City. The 19-year-old has been an unnamed substitute for the Sky Blues several times this season but has been a regular goal scorer for the U-21s.

All three players are available to face Notts County on Saturday.
