21 year old Town keeper Andy Love (pictured below on the right in the original GET report) has been sent to jail for assaulting a member of the public on October 30th last year.
Love a fringe player at Blundell Park, with 12 first team appearances to his name, is currently on an extended loan to non-league Ilkeston Town.
Love was sentenced for his sins to 28 days at Grimsby Magistrates Court today. He was also ordered to pay £500 compensation and £118 towards costs
