The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Who will win League 2?

New Match Dates Announced

New dates for both of the two postponed matches involving the Mariners have been announced. The Worthington cup second round 1st leg tie will be played on Tuesday (26th). The league game against Wimbledon at Selhurst part will be played on Wednesday November 8th. Both matches have a 7:45 kick off.

Wolves had requested a Wednesday game as they are playing Norwich in the league on Sunday, but their plea for an extra day was turned down by the Football League, arguably giving the Mariners a psychological advantage in the tie. The second leg of the tie may not be played for up to a month due to fixture congestion caused by international call-ups for some of the Wolves players.

Any POM entries for the two re-arranged games will be deleted and only used in the absence of any new entry.
