Does anyone remember Brian Laws telling us all how he was going to bring some 'rough diamonds' to the club, and make their rough areas smooth in order to find some 'fresh talent'? Well, Vance Warner (signed on loan from Forest) was one of them.
The problem was he was very, very rough. Anyone remember that game against Sunderland in the 1995/96 season when we lost 4-0 at home? Wasn't he shocking!?! Absolutely dreadful. I haven't heard of him since he left Rotherham in 1997. Anyone know where he is now? I'm sure he'll still be haunted by the memory of that torrid Sunderland game.
