Aaah! Yet another of Mr Laws rough diamonds, named after Radio 2's famous disc jockey Johnny Walker, believe it or not! That's not all, he is also the namesake of a certain type of whiskey, so it's a good bet that while at the club, he was good chums with a certain left back of Town's!
This particular rough diamond of Mr Laws was seemingly too rough to even partly feature in one of his teams! Walker did however acclaim the praises of many Town fans for his sterling performances in the midfield for the reserves.
After starting just one or two games at the end of the 95/96 season, Walker was soon flogged to Mansfield. Now, he's back in his native Scotland, as the other month I read on teletext that he had gone to some small Scottish club [Ed - Hamilton is the one!].
