Question of the Week

Where will Grimsby finish?

Injury List 22/03

By: Peter Forrester
Date: 22/03/2002

WITH a battle against the Dons looming, who is a doubt for the must win game? Peter Forrester brings you are the latest injury news from Blundell Park ahead of this weekend's big game.

Paul Raven - the central defender is still suffering a calf injury and missed the midweek reserve game against Bury. It was hoped the player would make his comeback against Bury but this isn't going to happen. Never mind though, Todd is staying for another month so Raves has another 4 weeks to get fit.

David Smith - Smudge is unlikely to have his contract renewed at the end of the season so with the player suffering a hamstring injury it seems we may have seen the last of David Smith in a Grimsby Town shirt. If he does go then I'll remember him most for his thunderbolt against Brentford on his debut.

Stuart Campbell - the ex Leicester man is feeling his groin a lot, although should be OK for the game against Wimbledon.

Michael Boulding - the pace man must have felt like he had spent 2 minutes in a ring with Mike Tyson, however he escaped with his ear but still suffered a badly bruised face thanks to Kevin Muscat. To top it off the striker has been suffering an illness and is still a doubt for the next game.

Steve Livingstone - I can't believe I am going to say this but Livvo is back in training, perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel and we may have him back on the pitch by the end of the season. What's the odds he comes on in the last few minutes of the last game and scores to save us from going down?
