The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Who will win League 2?

Jevons To Return?

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 18/06/2003

SOURCES close to Phil Jevons are saying that he is in talks with the club and is prepared to take a pay cut to play on for the Mariners. The club may accept this notwithstanding that a sum has to be paid for his appearances.

If the club accept his offer it will be a chance for him to show what he is worth. He has not enjoyed his loan period at Hull City as he wants a first team place at Blundell Park.

The club have not yet made an announcement as to wether they will accept his offer.

More news later.
