THE Mariners play host to League Two leader Yeovil on Saturday at Blundell Park, with both teams having secured important victories on Tuesday night.

Russell Slade has no major new injury worries but expects to be without skipper John McDermott yet again, who has been struggling with a hamstring injury since last week. The Town boss will have to decide whether to stick with the side that started against Chester or consider recalling Andy Parkinson and Thomas Pinault who made an impact after coming off the bench in the week. It is likely that Pinault could replace Graham Hockless behind the front two of Michael Reddy and Martin Gritton. One man who will not be in the squad is defender Greg Young, who has tied up an 18 month deal with Halifax Town this week.

Yeovil are largely expected to stick with the team that beat Scunthorpe 4-3 in midweek, with ex Mariner Phil Jevons making his first appearance at Blundell Park since his departure in the summer. Their new signing, Rory Fallon who is on loan from Swindon, will remain on the bench despite scoring on Tuesday night.

Probable teams

Town: 1. Anthony Williams, 8. Jason Crowe, 4. Simon Ramsden, 28. Terrell Forbes, 6. Justin Whittle, 16. Ronnie Bull, 11. Stacy Coldicott, 15. Terry Fleming, 17. Thomas Pinault, 9.Michael Reddy, 26. Martin Gritton.
Subs: - 12. Graham Hockless, 5. Tony Crane, 10. Andy Parkinson, 18. Rob Jones, 25. Glen Downey.

Subs: - 10. Rory Fallon, 7. Paul Terry, 13. Steve Collis, 27. Andrejs Stolcers, TBA. Kevin Amankwaah.
